I recently returned from a restful stay at Macdonald, and it was just what I needed. Located centrally, it made exploring the charming shops and eateries in Aviemore a breeze. Our family of five, along with our furry friend, found the lodges clean and spacious, nestled peacefully among trees. One aspect I appreciated was the convenient access to the leisure facilities. The indoor pool was a lovely spot to unwind, and my visit to the sauna was particularly rejuvenating. If they ever consider adding hot tubs to the lodges, that would be a fantastic enhancement! The breakfast offered a variety of tasty options, fueling our mornings before heading out for nature walks and local adventures. The serenity of the woodland lodges made for a relaxing getaway. While it's my second visit, I feel there's always something refreshing about returning.
